Weekly Wrap-Up & Preview: April 30

April 30, 2014

In April we featured book lists from product designers Dan Formosa (Smart Design) and Fiona Raby (Dunne & Raby), a round-up celebrating National Poetry Month in the U.S., plus books dedicated to the design of libraries, car design, the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, and more. We also had a conversation with Dan Saffer (Smart Design) about his new book, Microinteractions: Designing with Details. We mourn the the departure of Manhattan’s Rizzoli Bookstore from 57th Street this past month, but are very pleased to invite the Designers & Books community to a special “closed door” sale on May 1 and 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to the chance to buy art and design books at 50% discounts, you’ll be able to take a last look at the store’s elegant interior details.
