Max Bill studied at the Bauhaus in the late 1920s and founded the Hochschule fur Gestaltung—HfG Ulm [the Ulm School of Design] with Inge Aicher-Scholl and Otl Aicher in 1953. Bill’s cross-disciplinary skills as architect, artist and graphic designer all contribute to this exceptionally formatted and produced portfolio of modern Swiss architecture.
