Mzin

Mzin is an independent bookshop for visual culture in Leipzig, founded in 2008 by the graphic designers Philipp Neumann and Karen Laube. We offer a selection of magazines, local zines, catalogs, books etc. on graphic design, art, illustration, typography, painting, urban art, photography, fashion, and architecture.

The city’s tradition in books, printing, and graphic arts and our close connection to the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts is, along with our love of these subjects, another driving force behind the shop.

We also hold small exhibitions on these topics and since 2011 have produced limited-edition publications (Mzin Press) on the occasion of the exhibitions.
