R. Craig Miller

R. Craig Miller is a curator and design historian. He has served as Assistant Curator of 19th-century American Decorative Arts and Associate Curator of 20th-century Architecture and Design at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He was subsequently Curator for Architecture, Design, and Graphics at the Denver Art Museum. He is currently Senior Curator of Design Arts and Director of Design Initiatives at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Miller is the author of a number of significant books in the field. His most recent project is the groundbreaking exhibition “European Design Since 1985: Shaping the New Century” (and the accompanying catalogue), which opened at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in spring 2009 and traveled to the High Museum in Atlanta in June 2010 and the Milwaukee Art Museum in October 2010.
